Llama!

Howdy, folks! Olive Oyl here with your Hidden Valley update.

One of camp’s favorite llamas, our friend atop the roof of the red barn, has been receiving some TLC the past few weeks. With a little help from his human friends, Mr. Llama has received a fresh paint job to restore his fur to its thick and fluffy condition…he looks just like new! Be sure to check out the before and after pictures. The largest llama on camp is definitely excited to show off his fresh (paint) coat next summer!

I’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Hidden Valley improvements and news as the fall season continues!

P.S.

Happy early Halloween from all of us at HVC!

HVC_fall

Hey there, one and all! Olive Oyl here with some more autumn news about the beautiful place we call Hidden Valley Camp.

Fall is a sight to see, with colorful leaves, a crisp breeze in the air, and sunshine streaking through the trees. Although we miss the hustle and bustle of the summer season, we’re already busy getting ready for next summer- registering new campers and doing some improvements around camp.

Click here for more photos showing camp’s magnificent autumn colors. Dexter sure seems to be enjoying himself…

Stay tuned for more news as we continue to see more lovely fall changes around camp.

Ta-ta for now,
Olive

In The Belly of the Beast

Howdy, folks! Olive Oyl reporting for duty to give you the behind-the-scenes camp scoop!

After a busy summer, there’s a lot of cleaning up to do around camp…and not just in your usual places. We do a thorough scrubbing of the inside of the red dragon in the dining hall…take a look at the photo for what it would be like inside the belly of the beast! We’ve also finished our work resurfacing the tennis courts, so those are looking amazing and ready for the scampering feet of next summer’s campers.

Although the bright sunshine and blue skies in the summertime are endlessly beautiful, autumn’s falling leaves and crisp breezes suit Hidden Valley just as well. The fall season is just beginning, but I’m sure before we know it we’ll be sledding down Tipi Hill!

That’s all for now, stay tuned for more autumn news!

So Long,

Olive
