HVC Refund Policy
No fee reduction or refund is made for non-arrival, late arrival, or early withdrawal.
A 50% refund of the tuition paid, less non refundable deposit, will be made for cancellations before May 1st.
In cases of camper illness/injury a refund may be granted at Directors’ discretion.
If camp is canceled (epidemic, pandemic, disease, vandalism, fire, explosion, storm or other natural disaster, or national emergency or other acts of governmental authority) prior to May 1st: 100% of tuition paid refunded, less non refundable deposit. Policies do not apply if camp is open and families choose to cancel registration or withdraw campers early.
Tuition Insurance Options
Some families may wish to explore the purchase of Trip / Tuition insurance which operates much like trip insurance for vacations. Options are somewhat limited, and please keep in mind that Hidden Valley Camp is not affiliated with any of these providers, nor do we have experience with them. In addition, HVC is neither encouraging or discouraging insurance purchases, nor do we have a say in what benefits these companies offer. We are providing some information that might be useful should you choose to select one of these providers.
Camp tuition becomes non-refundable after certain deadlines, but these protection plans can provide a variety of levels of coverage should you need to cancel your enrollment for a reason covered by the plan purchased. Below are some options you can explore, though there are other products on the market worth considering and we encourage doing your research. It is important to review all plans carefully as there are certain restrictions, exclusions and limitations that may apply.
