Entering The New Season As Camp People

“HEY YOU GUYS!” 

Fall is upon us. As the days slowly shorten and the leaves turn to brown, we turn our attention to different responsibilities and communities. Whether Summer 2025 was your first summer or your fifteenth summer, entering fall is a reminder that though camp only takes place during the summer, we carry it with us throughout the year.

If we time travel back about a month, the second sessioners were waving their goodbyes. After campers departed, staff helped clean up and shut down the various physical spaces around camp before heading their own ways as well. Don’t worry! There are many people who occupy and frequent the camp property throughout the off season to make sure it stays maintained.

Who else misses the Maine sky? Sunsets, stars, blue skies…

With a smelly duffle bag in hand, we all left camp a little bit different than how we arrived. Maybe you brought home some new cooking skills that you learned in cooking class or a new energy to your soccer team. Sport that screen printed shirt you designed and handprinted around the halls of school. Rock that glass bead you finally mastered this summer!
