Winter Weather Updates!
“Weather Guy!”
If you haven’t attended an evening meeting at HVC, you wouldn’t know that this is a picture of one of the most important and beloved camp characters: Weather Guy. Though we can’t be together to hear Weather Guy and Weather Pal’s report on the weather, wind, and moon, this blog post, in honor of Weather Guy, is a winter weather update.
An update from April and Wes!
This month, during the snowstorm, our fearless directors, April and Wes, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge! Of course, they are representing HVC in their merch.
Last weekend, New York City received more snow than Freedom, ME. But as expected, Freedom did not escape the brutally cold, negative temperatures.
The HVC community is made up of people from all around the world. What is January weather like in your corner of the world?
Snow at camp!
This picture is from a couple winters ago. Nevertheless, it’s always fun to see pictures of camp in the snow. Maine is home to the llamas all year round which means they experience the highs and lows of all the seasons.
There are many stories of ice skating on the lake and sledding down The Hill. If you were to visit camp during winter, what kind of winter fun would you get up to?
