In Conclusion

We’ve reached the end of our 2025 summer camp season but before we say goodbye, there are a few more things that happened over the last few days that we need to share with you all!

The second session Play was nothing short of amazing and magical. We took a flight down to Neverland and fought against Captain Hook’s swashbuckling pirates alongside Peter Pan. Our campers really put on a great performance and brought Peter Pan’s world to life

The next day was a reaaaallyyy hot one — so hot that we had to sit under the shade as the Rockband and music classes gave us a 5-star performance in the backyard at lunch. This performance came as the opening act for Sharing Night and really set the tone as we sat to witness even more amazing skits and performances.

The following day was a Lazy Day and the whole camp took a trip down to the movie theatre to watch a movie, once we were all back on camp, we headed down to the pool for some fun (and cool) pool activities. To close of the amazing day, we met at the rec hall for the second session Musical: Annie! The campers sang their hearts out on stage and gave us a performance worthy of a standing ovation!

Everyone had their fair share of fun at this session’s fair day — we had the fun run down camp road in the morning, the Camper v Counselor Basketball Game shortly after that, and the fair throughout the entire day. For the first time ever, the basketball game made it into double overtime and before it could make it to triple overtime, the campers made a few more hoops in the dying minutes to win the game by 5 points! At the end of the day, we all got into our best outfits and showed our best dance moves at the Fair Day Dance.

This session’s Packing Day, like all packing days, was a busy one. We had the Brumby Show in the morning and the camp video/slideshow shortly after that, and then dedicated the rest of the day to packing and preparing to send camp into hibernation mode. Ben & Jerry’s was the closing delectable of the summer as we enjoyed an amazing Lobster Banquet before heading up to Pinegrove to say goodbye just as we said hello 24 days ago.
