Orientation Day & Campanion App Reminder
Today was a big day at Hidden Valley Camp - Orientation Day! Campers signed up for their classes, completed swim evaluations, explored the property on guided camp tours, and spent time bonding with their cabin groups. They visited program areas, met the animals, cooled off in the pool and lake, and shared stories with new friends. The day will be capped off at our beloved Pinegrove ceremony under the pines.
As the summer kicks off, we want to remind you to download the Campanion app - our go-to hub for sharing camp updates, photos, and memories with you throughout the session. Think of it as a window into your camper’s experience. While you may not see a photo of your camper every day, you'll receive a steady stream of moments that reflect the joy, learning, and fun happening across camp.
To get started, follow these simple steps:
Use your same HVC Account email address and password to log in
Upload a photo of your child, which enables the app to tag and notify you of new photos of your camper over the summer. This is an optional feature.
Ensure you have push notifications enabled within your phone settings so you can receive important updates from camp all year long
We’ll be sharing more photos in Campanion than on our blog or social media, since it’s a private space just for enrolled camp families. You’ll also get access to Microposts - short, behind-the-scenes stories about classes, cabin life, evening programs, and everything in between.
