Classes Commence!

It has been a successful first day of classes here at The Valley. Campers enjoyed themselves in our various art, animal, sport, and general programmes…and who could forget, Interest Groups! tudu-tudu!

We had our lunch under the shade to get out of the hot Maine sun. Temperatures reached highs of 90° Fahrenheit, or ‘Freedom Units’ as Weather Guy would call them - but that did not stop our campers from having fun - with sunscreen and water sprinklers ofcourse!

At the end of class day one we had Cabin Night! Which is a really nice evening programme where campers and counselors spend their time doing various activities…as a cabin…giving them more time to bond and form friendships. There were campfires (who doesn’t love good campfire s’mores?), water fights, trips to John’s Ice Cream, cooling off at the pool, and even going up the hill-zip!
