Four Days of Fun!

Every day at HVC feels like the best day ever (if we do say so ourselves) — and these past few days a lot has happened, so much so that we don’t even know where to start…but here goes:

On Jungle Dance night, the rec hall erupted with energy. We had everything from animal onesies and face paint to singalongs and dance circles. We created an atmosphere as if we were in a real jungle as staff and campers all linked hand to hand to create a special dance.

The following night was one we all look forward to: the Staff Talent Show. It is always a mix of hilarious, emotional, and outright brilliant. We had musical performances that gave us chills, skits that were just too hilarious, magic tricks that left us in awe, and other crazy performances that are just…too hard to explain.

And on the Lazy Day we took a trip down to Lake St. George for a day of relaxation with the younger half of camp, while the older half spent their day hanging out on camp trying to solve a mystery (oooooohh). And at the end of the day, we wrapped up with a classic camp performance by the Half Moon Jug Band. They visited with their instruments and warm personalities and had the whole camp singing along.
