Let’s Catch Up
We’re approaching the midpoint of second session…and what a week it has been leading up to that!
Sunday evening saw our counselors show off their hidden talents, and my word, they sure are talented! From unexpected skills to impressive performances, the Staff Talent Show was a great reminder that there’s always more than meets the eye when it comes to our counselors.
Class Day 6 started on a sweet note as Junk Food Day brought plenty of excitement to what was a gloomy — and very schwitzy — day! The evening brought even more adventure to the Valley as Cabin Night made its return.
Tuesday’s Lazy Day had a little bit of everything. HVArts took a trip to the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, while the older campers enjoyed Hydration Day around camp and the younger campers headed out for a day at Lake St. George. In the evening, everyone gathered in the Rec Hall for a movie night, complete with plenty of popcorn!
The Oompa Loompas and Willy Wonka made their return on Class Day 7, as the younger half of camp took part in Candy Crush that evening, while the older campers got to roasting, cooking, and creating in the woods for this session’s edition of Campfire Iron Chef!
And just like that, we’re almost at the midpoint with many more adventures to come!
