Outdoor Adventure and Nature Camp
There's nothing like being outdoors at a leading Maine nature camp during the summer months... Plan a hike up a mountain overlooking Penobscot Bay and then enjoy an ocean-side meal and sleepout... Join a group of campers assisting local blueberry pickers...Learn to make bowls out of birchbark... Hike or bicycle "off-road" on trails through pine forests and past foundations of turn-of-the-century farms.
We're committed to the preservation of the land right here in Maine and beyond. Find out more about our sustainability efforts here.
A refreshing snack break during a hike up nearby Frye Mountain.
Spend a few nights in our own Tipi Village, a nature camp based on traditional Native American life. Ten campers and two staff live in tipis, cook over an open fire, and study the ways of indigenous people. Swimming, canoeing, and hiking are integrated with gathering firewood, bead and leatherwork, traditional stories and games, and learning about each other in a small, tightly knit community.
Treat the earth well: It was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children.
